Job summary

Scientific Games in Ohio is seeking a Data Center Tech to join our 24x7 operations team. You will provide Tier 1 and 2 support for servers, databases and applications, monitor systems, and use scripts and procedures to run nightly processing and draws.

This role requires a high school diploma and 1-2 years in a 24x7 data center. You will work either 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am on a 7-day on/7-day off schedule, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• 1-2 years’ experience in a 24x7 data center environment.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows Server and Linux systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd level support by troubleshooting and resolving incidents.
• Operate and monitor Windows Server and Linux based systems.
• Monitor production environment and troubleshoot critical issues.
• Utilize incident management ticketing systems to report and document issues.
• Communicate via phone and electronic notification for escalation of major issues.
• Initiate and assist on troubleshooting conference calls.
• Complete shift checklists and status reports as required.
• Perform basic networking troubleshooting.
• Respond to inquiries from Lottery customers via email and inbound calls.
