Job summary

EOS IT Solutions seeks a Data Center Team Lead for Network Operations to oversee hardware repair, troubleshooting, and fiber deployment in mission-critical environments. This role blends hands-on technical work with people leadership across 24/7 operations.

You will lead technicians, perform advanced CLI diagnostics, and supervise repairs on server, storage, and network hardware while ensuring SLAs and incident documentation are maintained.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT support, hardware diagnostics, and repair in enterprise environments.
• 2+ years of people management, supervisory, team lead, or mentoring experience.
• Associate degree or higher in a technical discipline or equivalent hands-on data center operations experience.
• Strong proficiency with CLI-based tools including Cisco CLI, Linux/Unix shell, iDRAC, and iLO.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing fiber, server, storage, and network hardware; familiarity with ping, traceroute, netstat, SNMP, and syslog.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate technicians on a day-to-day basis, assigning workloads and priorities.
• Perform advanced diagnostics using CLI tools to identify and resolve issues.
• Oversee physical hardware repair across server, storage, and network platforms.
• Troubleshoot Layer 1–3 network issues and support fiber testing with OTDR, OLTS, meters.
• Manage ticket queues, SLA adherence, incident documentation, and escalate risks.
