Job summary

JLL seeks a Divisional Director - Data Centers, Client Sourcing to lead strategic sourcing across the Data Center portfolio. You will build high-performing teams, recruit and coach leaders, and align client strategies with market intelligence to deliver sustainable value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; MBA preferred.
• At least 15-20 years of experience working with sourcing and procurement.
• Excellent communication skills - oral and written.
• Proven track record leading successful teams.
• Demonstrated experience working in a matrix client organization.
• Travel: 25% (US based).

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, rotate, and retain top sourcing talent
• Support the career development of key roles through mentoring and visible leadership
• Create high-performing, integrated sourcing teams that deliver sustainable operational excellence
• Manage and coach Group Sourcing Leads, Team Leads, and Large Account Leaders on performance and development
• Actively support supply/demand within the sourcing platform by networking and mentoring
• Develop succession plans for all key roles within the organization
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture
• Develop Data Center sourcing strategies incorporating leadership goals, market intelligence, and client strategies
• Ensure the vision and strategy of client sourcing plans is implemented
• Establish relationships within Americas' Leadership across business lines
• Proactively manage suppliers to meet performance expectations
• Provide strategic vision for all S&P aspects of business
• Develop and lead short- and long-term sourcing strategies
• Manage interaction with sourcing teams to support sales
• Lead renewals, expansions, and new business partnerships
• Prepare for client renewals with aim for no-bid renewals
• Participate in client meetings and yellow pad sessions
• Identify risks and opportunities to clients and mitigate risk
• Manage supplier performance through supplier management programs
• Own sourcing compliance across Data Center accounts
• Develop and maintain methods for savings and reporting
• Comply with policies and ethical standards
• Recruit, develop, rotate, and retain top sourcing talent
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture
