Job summary

JLL in the United States is seeking a Senior Operations Director for Data Centers to lead nationwide operations and oversee a team of Facility Managers across multiple sites. Drive efficiency, reliability, and client satisfaction while aligning with corporate strategy.

The role requires 10+ years in data centers, strong leadership, and governance over budgets, vendors, and incident response. On-site role with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 10+ years work experience in data centers is required.
• Ability to travel to locations throughout the United States.
• Strong leadership, presentation, and organization skills are required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives and operational plans to drive efficiency, scalability, and resilience across data center operations.
• Provide leadership and direction to Facility Managers and staff across multiple sites.
• Monitor performance against SLAs, KPIs and metrics; mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement and leverage automation to optimize operations.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control; manage vendor contracts and spend.
• Communicate effectively with senior management, clients, and partners to align expectations and outcomes.
