Job summary

HTU is seeking a recent graduate to join the Johnson Controls ACE program as an inside sales professional supporting the Data Center Solutions group in North America. You will complete training, manage leads, and co-sell with account managers while gaining hands-on customer experience.

Initially based in Milwaukee, WI for six months, you will relocate to a permanent base (Milwaukee or York, PA) as you cover a defined territory. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree minimum; Business, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering degrees highly preferred.
• Recent graduate or undergraduate senior expecting to graduate between April 2027 and June 2027; program starts June 2027.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Ability to be in Milwaukee, WI for the first six months and then relocate or stay in the assigned permanent base (Milwaukee, WI or York, PA).
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
• Preferred qualifications include technical sales internship or Data Center industry experience, Cisco CCNA or AWS Cloud certifications, excellent communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with CRM, and availability to travel up to 10% depending on assignments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the 18-month ACE program for recent graduates.
• Support the GDCS business unit for North America.
• Complete instructor-led sales training and gain hands-on customer experience and mentorship.
• Manage Data Center leads from industry conferences, website inquiries, and webinars.
• Provide inside sales support to Data Center sales teams including account managers and technical sellers.
• Assist with customer RFIs and RFPs.
• Manage account planning and hygiene cadences with the sales team.
• Support CRM opportunity pipeline management.
• Attend training sessions to build product knowledge, sales tactics, and soft skills.
• Prepare and lead customer-facing product presentations as a Subject Matter Expert.
• Travel approximately once or twice per quarter to manufacturing facilities and customer locations for training and sales shadowing.
• Coordinate customer plant visits and support collaboration between global and technical sales teams.
• Spend the first six months based in Milwaukee, WI (Glendale office), then relocate to a predetermined location (Milwaukee, WI or York, PA) for an inside sales role covering a specific territory.
