Job summary

Riverside Technologies Inc is seeking a Data Center Solutions Sales Engineer to act as a technical advisor and trusted consultant for customers, supporting account managers and strategic sales initiatives in data center infrastructure, storage, virtualization, hybrid cloud, and data protection solutions.

The role leverages deep expertise in NetApp storage technologies and supports opportunities involving HPE and Dell server platforms and related infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years IT infrastructure experience desired.
• 3+ years in pre-sales engineering or technical consulting.
• Ability to present to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Travel up to 50%; valid driver’s license and clean record required.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.
• Ability to move equipment up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct customer discovery meetings to understand business requirements and objectives.
• Develop solution architectures and recommendations aligned with RTI best practices.
• Create technical designs, BOMs, scopes of work, and supporting docs.
• Deliver presentations, demonstrations, and technical briefings.
• Translate capabilities into business value and outcomes for customers.
• Support pricing discussions to ensure technically accurate and competitive solutions.
• Provide strategic guidance on infrastructure modernization, storage optimization, and hybrid cloud.
