Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking an on-site supervisor to lead field teams and ensure project milestones are met. The role emphasizes safety, scheduling, and coordination with owners, designers, and subcontractors to maintain efficient operations.

You will develop production plans, supervise subcontractors, manage staffing, and ensure compliance with HR and payroll processes while upholding company policies on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal rules including OSHA.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication with top management and owners.
• Basic math proficiency and computer skills.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• People management skills essential.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assists Superintendent with duties or performs them for a job without a Superintendent.
• Advocates safety as a top priority and enforces safety plans and policies.
• Coordinates with Estimating, Division and Project Management for project direction.
• Develops production plans aligned with budget goals.
• Prepares project status and payroll related documents.
• Reviews plans and coordinates shop drawings per contract documents.
• Procures tools and materials to meet the work schedule.
• Determines staffing levels and timing for each project phase.
• Manages onsite field personnel per HR processes and procedures.
• Resolves complaints with HR and Legal assistance as needed.
• Collaborates with engineers, architects, subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Ensures schedules are adhered to by staffing and procurement.
• Supervises subcontractors and enforces terms.
• Follows and enforces company policies; coordinates regulatory inspections.
