Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking an experienced construction project professional to support on-site supervision and coordination across multiple trades. You will work with the Superintendent to ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence while liaising with owners, designers, and subcontractors to keep projects on track.

The role requires strong communication, rigorous safety focus, and the ability to read construction drawings and manage field personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; minimum 5 years of relevant construction experience.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal rules, including OSHA.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to top management and stakeholders.
• Basic math and computer skills; professional attitude and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Assists Superintendent with duties or performs them for a job without a Superintendent.
• Advocates safety as number one priority and enforces safety policies.
• Supervises and coordinates management of construction projects with owner, designers, and subcontractors.
• Develops production plans with budget goals in mind.
• Prepares project status reports and payroll submissions as required.
• Reviews plans and drawings for contract compliance and coordinates shop drawings.
• Procures tools and materials to meet project schedules.
• Determines staffing levels and timing for each project phase.
• Recruits and directs on-site field personnel in line with HR processes.
• Controls progress and compliance reports; resolves workforce complaints with HR/Legal as needed.
• Works with engineers, architects, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers to improve methods and resolve issues.
• Ensures schedules are adhered to by proper staffing and procurement; oversees subcontractors.
