Responsibilities

• Assists Superintendent with duties or performs them for a job lacking a Superintendent.
• Advocates safety as priority on the jobsite and enforces safety policies and regulations.
• Directs and coordinates management of construction projects with owners, designers, and subcontractors.
• Develops and implements production plans with budget goals in mind.
• Assists Project Manager in preparing project status reports.
• Responsible for daily, progress, and compliance reports and logs.
• Oversees review of plans/drawings and coordination of shop drawings.
• Procures tools and materials to meet the work schedule.
• Determines staffing levels and timing based on methodology and equipment availability.
• Recruits, hires, and directs onsite field personnel per HR processes.
• Prepares payroll submissions and HR/payroll documentation.
• Resolves complaints with supervisory staff and employees with HR/legal support.
• Collaborates with engineers, architects, subcontractors, inspectors to resolve issues.
• Ensures schedules are adhered to by staffing and procurement decisions.
• Supervises subcontractors to ensure compliance with terms.
• Follows and enforces company policies and procedures.
• Coordinates and oversees regulatory inspections.
