Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Site Engineer II for night shift to join the Data Center Operations team. You will support 24x7 data center uptime, manage incident reporting, SOPs, EOPs, and change tickets, and supervise site activities including maintenance and repairs of critical equipment.

You will work with electrical and mechanical assets, review facility drawings, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards while interfacing with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• :At least 3 year of experience in mission critical facilities operating / engineering or equivalent assets (UPS, HVAC, generators, fire/life safety).:Hands-on electrical or mechanical skill and competence in the area of non-expertise (electrical with mechanical or vice-versa).:Strong knowledge of UPS systems and architectures.:Strong knowledge of cooling systems and architectures.:Strong understanding of infrastructure redundancy configurations and risks.:Familiarity with CMMS, DCIM, and power metering systems.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of facility layout and operation of MEP systems and illustrate site specific system one-lines.
• Understand equipment nomenclature and locations; review facility drawings and specs.
• Manage SOPs, SOOs, EOPs and EOPs; participate in change management tickets.
• Perform incident reporting, rounds/inspections, and anomaly detection.
• Supervise construction activity and site alterations as required.
• Troubleshoot site mechanical and electrical systems and respond to unplanned events.
