Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Site Engineer II to join the Data Center Operations team. This role reports to the Manager Engineering Operations and focuses on mission-critical infrastructure including generators, UPS, HVAC, fire/life safety, BMS, and CMMS systems.

You will contribute to daily site operations and drive change management processes to maintain maximum uptime. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in mission-critical facilities, hands-on electrical or mechanical skills, and strong

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in mission critical facilities engineering.
• Hands-on electrical or mechanical skill with cross-discipline competency.
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems.
• Strong knowledge of cooling systems.
• Understanding of redundancy configurations (N+1, 2N).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with CMMS, DCIM, and power metering.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to daily site operations and SOPs.
• Support change management tickets and incident reporting.
• Oversee maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure uptime.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Assist in supervision of construction activities.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams.
