Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Site Engineer I to join the site-level Data Center Operations team. You will support mission critical infrastructure including generators, UPS, HVAC, fire/life safety, BMS, and CMMS systems, reporting to the Manager Engineering Operations.

You will contribute to daily site operations, procedures, incident reporting, and inspections to achieve 100% uptime and compliance with customer SLAs.

Qualifications

• Experience in mission critical facilities operating/engineering.
• Hands-on electrical or mechanical skill with competence in non-expertise area.
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems and cooling architectures.
• Familiarity with CMMS, DCIM and power metering systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to daily site operations and maintenance.
• Create/modify site operating procedures and change tickets.
• Prepare incident reports and ensure 24x7 uptime.
• Supervise construction activities and site changes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems and respond to incidents.
