Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Site Engineer I in Chandler to join the Data Center Operations team. You will report to the Manager Engineering Operations and support mission critical infrastructure including generators, UPS, HVAC, and fire/life safety systems.

The role requires electrical or mechanical expertise and the ability to work across CMMS and DCIM platforms to sustain high availability. You will contribute to daily site operations, create SOPs, manage change tickets, and participate in

Qualifications

• Experience in mission critical facilities operation or engineering.
• Hands-on electrical or mechanical skill and cross-competence.
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems and cooling architectures.
• Familiarity with CMMS and DCIM systems.
• Ability to develop SOPs and participate in change management.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to daily site operations and maintain procedures.
• Create and manage change tickets; document incidents promptly.
• Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure uptime.
• Understand facility layout, MEP systems, and SOOs/SOPs/EOPs.
• Support accreditation efforts (SSA​E16, SOC2, ISO 27001) as needed.
• Respond to unplanned events with minimal supervision.
