Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Site Engineer I to join the data center operations team. You will support 24x7 uptime by overseeing mission-critical equipment, including UPS, HVAC, and fire/life safety systems, while contributing to SOPs and incident reporting.

You will gain hands-on experience with CMMS and DCIM systems, participate in change management, and work across multiple site operations to ensure top-tier availability and SLA compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in mission critical facilities operations or engineering.
• Hands-on electrical or mechanical skills with cross-discipline capability.
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems and cooling architectures.
• Familiarity with CMMS, DCIM and power metering systems.
• Ability to respond to incidents and work in 24x7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to daily site operations and maintain procedures as needed.
• Create and modify site operating procedures and change tickets.
• Produce timely incident reports and assist in incident management.
• Perform site maintenance, inspections, and repairs for uptime.
• Assist in supervising construction activities and change management.
• Support accreditation efforts (SSA16, SOC2, ISO 27001) as required.
