Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or applicable discipline.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Excellent business judgment demonstrated by profitability objectives and strong project close-outs with client and subcontractor relationships.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with strong command of contract and legal provisions.
• Ability to analyze and execute financial trade-offs.
• Ability to multi-task between Suffolk business needs, organizational issues, and customer relations.
• Strong judgment to escalate issues appropriately.
• Sense of urgency and initiative.
• Ability to adapt to new processes and problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and communicate with Suffolk Field Supervision, Subcontractors and Vendors to assist them in meeting the Project Schedule.
• Represent Suffolk with Owner(s), Architects, Consultants, Government Authorities, Vendors and Subcontractors.
• Administer financial aspects of the Owner’s contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Build effective working relationships with clients and the Suffolk project team members.
• Attend schedule and management meetings; chair as appropriate.
• Manage requisitions and payments including lien releases and project payroll; maintain cash flow.
• Deliver project manuals, warranties, as-builts and training to the owner; closeout with subcontractors.
