Job summary

Suffolk Construction seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead on-site project direction, oversee safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and coordinate with owners and architects through the lifecycle of Mission Critical Center projects.

You will manage field teams, develop baselines, drive pull planning, and ensure daily reporting, pre-construction safety meetings, and timely turnover to the project team, while upholding Suffolk standards and contractual commitments.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading on-site construction of complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and site safety management.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, subcontractors, and communications with clients and architects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, manage, and document all day-to-day job site activities including OSHA safety compliance.
• Direct field personnel according to the project plan and Suffolk supervisory principles.
• Communicate issues, events, performance, and progress daily to the Project Manager.
• Report any problems promptly to the Project Manager to facilitate cost-effective solutions.
• Establish effective working relationships with Clients, Suffolk team members, subcontractors, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction.
