Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, start-up, certification, and training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will work with the project team to ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget, while driving customer satisfaction and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of relevant field experience, strong supervision skills, and a trade designation.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5–7 years of relevant field experience in building automation or security systems.
• Trade designation (e.g. Electrician) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall site management of project(s) for timely completion within budget.
• Supervises Project Specialists, Installers and subcontractors in the field.
• Coordinates and supervises subcontractors ensuring quality assurance standards.
• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services building systems (fire, life safety, and/or building automation).
• Identifies project risks and helps minimize deviations from costs and deadlines.
