Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, system turn‑on, certification, and customer training on fire, security, and building automation projects. You will ensure delivery within scope, budget, and schedule, while working with the project team to drive success.

You will oversee field staff and subcontractors, manage project risks, maintain quality, and provide world‑class service to customers and communities as part of Convergint's growth culture.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising field teams on building automation or fire alarm projects.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings and relate them to installation.
• Willingness to travel minimally to jobsites and maintain schedules.
• Strong customer service orientation and problem solving.
• Proficient with MS Office and field reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversees site management of project(s) ensuring on-time completion within budget and scope.
• Supervises technicians, installers, and subcontractors on-site.
• Mentors and coaches staff; plans, assigns and directs work.
• Coordinates subcontractors and ensures quality standards.
• Identifies risks and implements strategies to minimize cost and delay.
• Ensures installation quality per codes and company standards.
• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services fire, life safety, security, and building automation systems.
