Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Project Safety Manager for data center projects in Boling, TX. Lead site safety initiatives, oversee safety programs, and align project teams with company safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of construction safety experience and OSHA 30 certification (preferred). This role emphasizes proactive safety planning, training, and incident investigation to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the creation of the project safety plan.
• Track and trend project safety performance and recommend corrective measures.
• Verify project team adherence to safety management processes.
• Assist project teams with enforcement of safety programs and issue safety violations when needed.
• Facilitate project safety committees and preconstruction safety planning.
• Conduct or facilitate project-wide safety training.
• Coordinate and communicate site safety activities with the Project Manager.
• Support regulatory safety compliance across the project.
• Encourage innovative thinking to raise safety awareness on site.
