Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Project Safety Manager for the Mission Critical division, overseeing data center projects in Boling, TX. You will lead on-site safety, implement company safety standards, and provide project-wide safety training to ensure a secure work environment.

You’ll coordinate with project teams to plan safety, perform audits, investigate incidents, and uphold compliance with OSHA regulations. A strong safety background and leadership mindset are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Strong communication and leadership abilities

Responsibilities

• Participate in the creation of the project safety plan
• Track and trend project safety performance and recommend corrective actions
• Verify adherence to safety processes and assist with enforcement
• Draft safety communications and coordinate safety trainings
• Facilitate safety committees and preconstruction meetings
• Support regulatory compliance and site inspections
• Ensure stop-work authority is understood and applied
• Maintain safety documentation and incident investigations
• Coordinate safety activities with the Project Manager
• Assist with safety audits and continuous improvement initiatives
