Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives for a designated region. You will implement safety standards, deliver programs, train staff, and investigate incidents to ensure compliance and a safe work environment.

Responsibilities include supporting preconstruction safety planning, audits, and audits of job sites, with a focus on proactive health and safety measures across projects. A background in data centers is a plus.

Qualifications

• Four years of construction safety experience in a formal safety role.
• Data center construction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership and oversee safety programs in the assigned region.
• Advise on safety practices, rules, and workers' compensation requirements for the management team.
• Support site inspections by third-party reps and OSHA inspectors; verify corrective actions.
