Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking a Data Center Service Lead to oversee day-to-day operations, including installations, field operations, repairs, safety, and reporting. The role requires coordinating rack installations and fiber cabling standards, assigning tasks, managing timelines, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years leading technical field or data center teams, strong networking knowledge, and experience with automation to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing technical field or data center operations teams.
• 2+ years in people management or team leadership.
• Proven experience managing global technical teams for enterprise networks.
• Strong understanding of routers, switches, dynamic routing, and circuit troubleshooting.
• Experience with automation to streamline workflows.
• Experience with change control and maintenance in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams in planning and executing data center and network installation projects.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
• Stakeholder management with internal and external partners to ensure smooth delivery.
• Oversee resource allocation for personnel, equipment, and materials; optimize utilization.
• Establish and enforce quality control to meet project specs and regulatory requirements.
• Identify risks early and develop mitigation plans to keep projects on time and within scope.
• Monitor budgets and reporting; drive cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare regular status reports and communicate progress to leadership and clients.
• Lead post-project reviews and drive continuous improvement across services.
