Job summary

EOS IT Solutions seeks a Data Center Network Operations Lead to oversee hardware repair and troubleshooting for fiber optic deployments in large-scale data centers. You will lead a hands-on technical team, coordinate 24/7 operations, and drive incident resolution with SLA-driven discipline.

The role requires strong CLI skills (Cisco and Linux), server/storage/network hardware diagnostic experience, and a track record of team leadership in high-availability environments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a technical discipline.
• 5+ years IT support, hardware diagnostics, and repair.
• 2+ years people management or team lead experience.
• Strong CLI proficiency (Cisco CLI, Linux shell, iDRAC, iLO).
• Experience troubleshooting fiber, server, storage, and network hardware.
• Familiarity with network protocols and tools (ping, traceroute, SNMP).
• Excellent problem solving under high availability pressure.
• Strong communication and leadership with customer focus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between data centers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support hardware repair and troubleshooting across data centers.
• Lead a field-based technical team at the site.
• Coordinate workload, ticket queues, escalations, and service levels.
• Mentor junior technicians and ensure safety compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for upgrades and maintenance windows.
• Maintain documentation for incident resolution and repair procedures.
• Ensure SLA adherence and proper timecard management.
