Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Project Scheduler to join the Project Controls team for a high‑profile data center project. This on‑site role is based in Spartanburg, SC and will oversee integrated schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and startup.

You will develop, maintain, and analyze schedules, coordinate with commissioning and startup teams, and report schedule status, risks, and recovery plans to project leadership and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of project scheduling experience.
• Experience with commissioning-intensive projects such as data centers, advanced manufacturing facilities, semiconductor facilities, power generation facilities, life sciences and pharmaceutical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud.
• Coordinate commissioning execution schedules and turnover plans with commissioning managers and startup teams.
• Analyze schedule impacts from scope, design, procurement, construction, or commissioning changes.
• Facilitate schedule development, planning, and progress review meetings with project stakeholders.
• Establish WBS, coding structures, and schedule governance processes.
• Review and validate schedule logic, durations, constraints, calendars, and critical path activities.
• Perform progress updates, forecasting, variance analysis, and schedule health assessments.
• Generate schedule reports, dashboards, and management presentations for leadership and clients.
