Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join our Project Controls team for large-scale data center projects. This on-site role in Spartanburg, SC involves developing and maintaining integrated schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and handover to the client.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of project scheduling experience on mission-critical facilities or large-scale projects.
• Strong background in scheduling for commissioning-intensive environments (data centers, manufacturing, life sciences).
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and Primavera Cloud.
• Solid understanding of EPC/EPCM execution and schedule risk analysis.
• Experience developing resource- and cost-loaded schedules and turnover readiness.
• Ability to facilitate planning workshops and communicate schedule status to teams and clients.
• Experience with schedule analytics tools and dashboards is a plus.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, and construction.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated schedules using Primavera P6 and Primavera Cloud.
• Collaborate with commissioning and startup teams for turnover and commissioning plans.
• Assess schedule impacts from design, scope, procurement, or changes.
• Lead planning and progress review meetings with stakeholders.
• Establish WBS, coding structures, and governance for schedules.
• Validate logic, durations, calendars, and critical path activities.
• Provide progress updates, forecast, and schedule health assessments.
• Support IAP sessions and pull-planning workshops.
• Generate reports and dashboards for leadership and clients.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss performance and recovery strategies.
