Job summary

Jacobs invites an experienced Project Scheduler to join the Project Controls team for a data center program in Spartanburg, SC. You’ll develop, maintain, and report integrated schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and handover.

You’ll partner with commissioning and startup teams, analyze impacts, and drive readiness through critical path analysis, schedule governance, and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of project scheduling experience on mission-critical facilities or large projects.
• Experience with commissioning-intensive projects (data centers, advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, power, life sciences).
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Strong understanding of EPC/EPCM project execution.
• Experience developing and maintaining resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules.
• Knowledge of turnover, commissioning, startup, and operational readiness processes.
• Experience with critical path analysis and schedule risk assessments.
• Ability to facilitate planning workshops and align multiple stakeholders.
• Proven ability to communicate schedule status and risks to teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud.
• Collaborate with commissioning managers and startup teams to develop commissioning execution schedules and turnover plans.
• Analyze schedule impacts resulting from scope, design, procurement, construction, or commissioning changes.
• Facilitate schedule development, planning, and progress review meetings with project stakeholders.
• Establish project WBS, coding structures, and schedule governance processes.
• Review and validate schedule logic, durations, constraints, calendars, and critical path activities.
• Perform progress updates, forecasting, variance analysis, and schedule health assessments.
• Support IAP sessions, pull-planning workshops, and execution planning activities.
• Generate schedule reports, dashboards, and management presentations for project leadership and clients.
• Participate in client meetings to communicate schedule performance, risks, and recovery strategies.
