Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join our Project Controls team for a data center project located on-site in Spartanburg, SC. The role involves developing, maintaining, and reporting integrated schedules across all project phases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong EPC/EPCM background, advanced Primavera P6 skills, and hands-on experience with commissioning and turnover activities to ensure operational readiness and successful handover to the client.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 8+ years of project scheduling experience supporting mission-critical facilities or data centers.
• Strong experience with data centers or large-scale industrial projects.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Understanding of EPC/EPCM project execution.
• Experience with resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules.
• Knowledge of system turnover, commissioning, startup, and operational readiness methods.
• Ability to communicate schedule status and risks to project teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud.
• Collaborate with commissioning managers and startup teams to build schedules for turnover.
• Analyze schedule impacts from scope, design, procurement, construction, or commissioning changes.
• Lead planning meetings with project stakeholders and facilitate progress reviews.
• Establish WBS, coding structures, and schedule governance processes.
• Review and validate logic, durations, constraints, calendars, and critical paths.
• Provide progress updates, forecasts, and schedule health assessments.
• Support IAP sessions, pull-planning, and execution planning activities.
• Create reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and clients.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss performance, risks, and recovery plans.
