Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join our Project Controls team for on-site work on a data center project in Spartanburg, SC. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and reporting integrated schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup phases.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of scheduling in mission-critical facilities, strong Primavera P6/Cloud skills, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of project scheduling experience for mission-critical facilities, data centers or large-scale industrials.
• Experience with commissioning-intensive projects and turnover to operations.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Primavera Cloud required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and Primavera Cloud.
• Coordinate with commissioning and startup teams to create turnover plans.
• Analyze schedule impacts from scope, design, procurement, or changes.
• Lead planning meetings, establish WBS and schedule governance.
• Validate logic, durations, calendars, and critical path activities.
• Provide progress updates, forecasts, and schedule health assessments.
• Support IAP sessions and pull-planning workshops.
• Generate reports and dashboards for leadership and clients.
• Communicate schedule status, risks, and recovery strategies to project teams.
