Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join our Project Controls team for large-scale data center projects, onsite in Spartanburg, SC. You will develop, maintain, and analyze integrated schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and handover phases.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of scheduling experience on mission-critical facilities, strong Primavera P6 skills, and a deep understanding of systems turnover and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of project scheduling experience for mission-critical facilities, data centers, or large-scale industrial projects.
• Experience on commissioning-intensive projects including data centers, manufacturing, semiconductor, power, or life sciences facilities.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Strong understanding of EPC/EPCM project execution.
• Experience developing resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules.
• Knowledge of mechanical completion, systems turnover, commissioning, startup, and operational readiness processes.
• Experience performing critical path analysis and schedule risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud.
• Collaborate with commissioning managers and startup teams to create turnover plans.
• Analyze schedule impacts from scope, design, procurement, construction, or commissioning changes.
• Facilitate schedule development, planning, and progress review meetings with stakeholders.
• Establish WBS, coding structures, and schedule governance processes.
• Review schedule logic, durations, constraints, calendars, and critical path activities.
• Perform progress updates, forecasting, variance analysis, and schedule health assessments.
• Support IAP sessions, pull-planning, and execution planning activities.
• Generate schedule reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and clients.
• Participate in client meetings to communicate performance, risks, and recovery strategies.
