Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our data center team in the United States. You will work closely with senior project managers on all aspects of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating contracts, coordinating design and construction teams, and ensuring project turnover.

You will be mentored in more complex aspects of project management while developing relationships and progressing toward a Project Manager role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction, or engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs, solicit proposals, negotiate and manage contracts.
• Coordinate design and construction teams.
• Maintain project governance.
• Conduct field quality control of the craft trades at site.
• Ensure successful project turnover.
• Mentor towards becoming a Project Manager.
