Job summary

CBRE DirectLine is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support delivery of network infrastructure and cabling projects at a site. You will help establish schedules, manage costs, and ensure safety and quality while engaging clients and stakeholders.

The role requires a degree in a related field and 1–3+ years in construction, data centers, or structured cabling. Proficiency with MS Office and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 1–3+ years in construction, data centers, or structured cabling.
• Proven ability to deliver programs on time and within budget and quality standards.
• Experience in contract negotiation and team leadership.
• PM certification or related credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate, and budget construction activities.
• Develop program schedules and milestones aligned to client goals.
• Prepare and manage budgets, cost tracking, and reporting.
• Lead resource planning and procurement with vendors and subs.
• Oversee safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on site.
• Engage clients, present status, and resolve project issues.
• Coordinate with design, construction, network, and facility partners.
• Mentor project team and drive DL Way process adherence.
