Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Stafford, VA is seeking a Data Center Project Engineer to join onsite construction teams.

You will collaborate with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning to build energy-efficient data centers and support rapid, high-quality delivery on construction sites. You will own communication coordination with vendors, manage RFIs and change orders, and maintain document workflows and schedules to support milestones and regional leadership reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or 1+ years of relevant discipline work experience.
• Experience in vendor management
• Experience in a data center or other critical environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• 3+ years of construction or project management experience

Responsabilités

• Establishing communication and coordination across a data center region’s general contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain a tracking system for design changes, RFI’s (requests for information), and change orders and dashboard and track this information for regional leadership review.
• Onboarding new vendors for badging and orientation.
• Updating project management software with milestone dates, correspondence, and documents.
• Monitor delivery of owner furnished material to site.
• Compiling and storing construction data from vendors.
• Managing checklist including various checklists including substantial completion checks, safety, and quality.
