Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Data Center Project Engineer to join our construction management team. On-site role, coordinating with operations, networking, controls, and vendors to deliver safe, on-time data center builds.

You will manage RFIs, change orders, and documentation, track milestones, and support daily field activities with regional contractors and project engineers. The base salary range is 96,000 to 166,300 USD annually.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of vendor management experience.
• 4+ years of data center or critical environment experience.
• 5+ years of data center engineering or operations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage the owners side RFI, submittal and change management processes related to data center builds.
• Help to ensure monthly Billing and Pay Applications are correct.
• Help to manage and implement new processes as required.
• Work daily with general contractors, Superintendents, and Project Engineers to keep the project on schedule.
• Provide daily support to onsite construction managers for moving parts of the project.
