Job summary

AWS Data Centers requires a dedicated Data Center Project Engineer to partner with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning teams to deliver high-quality data center facilities on schedule.

You will be on the construction site daily, coordinating with construction managers and vendors, owning communication flows, and maintaining documentation for RFIs, change orders, reports, and schedules.

Qualifications

• Leading cross-functional communication between regional GCs, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Developing tracking systems for design changes, RFIs, and change orders.
• Evaluating procedures for thoroughness and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• On-site support for construction teams, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation workflow including RFIs, change orders and schedules.
• Manage review and approval processes for design modifications and milestones.
• Ensure safety protocols and quality control measures are followed on site.
• Coordinate owner-furnished materials deliveries and data management.
• Assist in establishing centralized data repositories for construction information.
