Job summary

E2 Optics in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks a seasoned professional to lead data center construction projects from design through closeout. You will coordinate field teams, manage submittals and change orders, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management or Engineering is preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in structure cabling design work.
• RCDD (BICSI) certification.
• Project management certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with large data center construction and related design knowledge.
• Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment and methods.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety and compliance with customer quality plans and industry standards.
• Develops and enhances data center training, SOPs and work instructions.
• Provides field and project engineering, quality control, contract administration and scheduling support.
• Manages change orders, pricing, and project documentation.
• Coordinates drawings, specifications, submittals and document control.
• Leads project teams to improve efficiency and profitability.
