Job summary

The Weitz Company seeks a Construction Project Engineer for a data center project in Boling, TX. You will support planning, buyout, management and closeout, while helping monitor schedule and budget with the project team.

Requires at least two years of project engineering experience, a related degree, and data center exposure preferred. The company offers competitive pay, bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two (2) years of project engineering experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Data center experience is strongly preferred.
• Industry-related college degree.

Responsibilities

• Organize, review, update, maintain and post construction documents and drawings.
• Collaborate with project team to complete RFIs and review submittals.
• Assist in inspections, compliance audits and non-conformance logs.
• Monitor material and equipment delivery status.
• Maintain and distribute accurate project logs (buyouts, submittals, RFIs).
• Understand scopes of work for subcontracts/purchase orders and change orders.
• Support project schedule management and attend regular meetings.
• Record meeting minutes and assist with closeout and warranty processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
