Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Project Coordinator for a data-center project in Boling, Texas. The role covers document management, project accounting, and project administration to keep tasks on schedule and accurately documented.

Ideal candidates are highly organized with an interest in construction and able to communicate effectively with project teams, vendors, and owners. This position requires 50-hour work weeks, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with basic accounting and/or invoicing.
• Experience as a Project Coordinator in construction is desirable.
• Familiarity with OCIP and CCIP management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the project team including data entry, filing, and proofreading.
• Verify subcontractor contracts, bonds, and insurance are in place and renew as needed.
• Manage and distribute contract status reports and other cost reports.
• Obtain, review, and process subcontractor and vendor payments.
• Facilitate OCIP and CCIP reporting and other requirements.
• File and distribute construction drawings.
• Assist in owner pay applications; maintain related documentation.
• Assist with pre-qualifications, contracts, invoices, change orders, and other documents.
• Organize closeout information with the project team.
