Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Construction Project Engineer for our data center project in Boling, TX. You will support planning, buyout, management, and closeout, helping monitor schedule and budget and coordinating with the project team.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of project engineering experience, data center exposure, and strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Procore/JDE/Asta experience is preferred, with a robust benefits package and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of project engineering experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment is required.
• Industry-related college degree is required.
• Data center experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, review, update, maintain and post construction documents and drawings.
• Collaborate with project team to complete RFIs and submittals.
• Review submittals for accuracy against plans and specs.
• Assist in inspections, audits, and non-conformance logs.
• Monitor material and equipment delivery status and logs.
• Track change requests and draft change orders within authority.
• Help manage project schedule and attend regular meetings.
