Job summary

EPC Project Management Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced Procurement Expeditor for Data Center Construction to oversee timelines and protect delivery schedules across multiple data-center projects.

You will bridge commercial procurement commitments with on-site logistics, tracking long-lead electrical and mechanical packages, coordinating submittals, fabrication milestones, testing, and deliveries to align with construction master schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement, expediting, or supply chain coordination experience.
• Direct experience in data center, mission-critical, or large-scale industrial construction environments preferred.
• Working familiarity with long-lead equipment (UPS, generators, switchgear, busway), and mechanical cooling systems.

Responsibilities

• Track purchase orders and vendor commitments from award through job site delivery.
• Monitor submittals, fabrication progress, factory milestones, testing, and shipping schedules.
• Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, fabricators, and freight providers to confirm delivery commitments and resolve bottlenecks.
• Identify and escalate procurement delays, supply chain constraints, and risks threatening critical path milestones.
• Maintain procurement tracking logs, milestone forecasts, and equipment status reports for leadership.
• Collaborate with on-site project managers, contractors, and trades to align equipment arrival windows and staging.
• Support multiple concurrent data center builds and long-lead equipment packages across projects.
