Job summary

NorthMark Strategies is seeking a Procurement Associate for Mechanical Equipment to manage PO execution for owner‑furnished gear in a fast‑paced data center build. You will coordinate with EPC partners, expediting long‑lead items and keeping the project tied to the schedule.

The role requires 4–6 years of direct procurement experience in mechanical equipment and strong ERP/Excel discipline, with a hands‑on approach to the full procure‑to‑pay cycle.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of direct procurement experience with hands-on buying responsibility for capital equipment or construction materials.
• Experience buying mechanical equipment such as chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, pumps.
• Familiarity with procure-to-pay cycles and Incoterms.

Responsibilities

• Execute and administer purchase orders for owner-furnished mechanical equipment.
• Support category leads through RFQ documentation, bid tabs, and supplier communications.
• Expedite long-lead equipment and monitor milestones against construction schedule.
• Coordinate OFCI delivery logistics with EPC and site teams.
• Manage full PO lifecycle in ERP: change orders, milestones, payments.
• Track submittals, FAT schedules, and documentation between vendors, engineering, and EPC.
• Handle OS&D and warranty claims with vendors and carriers.
• Maintain supplier records, pricing history, and lead-time intelligence.
