Job summary

Matrix Project Services in Houston, TX seeks an Expeditor to accelerate supplier deliveries for major equipment and materials, ensuring alignment with project schedules. You will work with Procurement, Project Management, and QA to verify progress and payments.

The role requires ERP experience, strong communication, and travel up to 20% to supplier sites. Full-time position with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS in Business, Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and expediting experience.
• 3–5 years’ experience in procurement administration, expediting, scheduling and accounting in EPC.
• Experience with ERP systems desired.

Responsibilities

• Expedite and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of major equipment and materials.
• Receive items in company system and certify supplier progress for payment.
• Prepare and issue expediting reports; monitor schedules with Procurement Manager and Project Management.
• Coordinate with Project management, Construction, Planning and Scheduling to meet delivery dates.
• Coordinate QA inspections and ITPs with project management and suppliers/fabricators.
• Coordinate shipping with procurement and logistics; perform receiving transactions in Penta or other systems.
• Support supplier performance evaluations with SQL Server reports.
