Job summary

Electronic Power Design, Inc. is seeking an organized Expeditor in Houston to support procurement and manufacturing by ensuring timely delivery of materials and components.

You will track purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers, and resolve delivery issues to prevent production delays. You will work with Buyers, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production teams, using ERP tools, to provide daily material status updates and improve supplier responsiveness.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in expediting, procurement, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with ERP systems and procurement processes.
• Strong communication and supplier management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor purchase orders and supplier commitments to ensure timely delivery.
• Track order statuses through ERP systems and procurement tools.
• Identify delayed or at-risk shipments and take proactive action.
• Expedite materials to support production schedules and customer orders.
• Maintain records of expediting activities and supplier communications.
• Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure smooth receipt of goods.
• Prepare reports on expediting activities and delivery issues.
