Job summary

Jacobs’ Advanced Manufacturing group is hiring a Preconstruction Project Manager to bridge design and construction on data center projects across the U.S. This role involves coordinating with design, procurement, scheduling and construction teams to meet timelines and budgets.

You’ll travel up to 50% across North America, work in a hybrid/onsite environment, and help optimize constructability and sequencing while maintaining client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience managing construction projects (industrial/commercial).
• Experience with 3D Modelling software and BIM tools.
• Field construction experience on active projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of time across North America.

Responsibilities

• Support preconstruction planning, bid packages, scheduling, estimating, VDC modeling and reporting.
• Drive collaboration between design, procurement and construction teams.
• Develop subcontracting and procurement strategies with project teams.
• Coordinate risk management and constructability reviews.
• Prepare 4-D visualizations and site logistics plans.
