Job summary

Jacobs’ Advanced Manufacturing group is seeking a proactive and resourceful Preconstruction Project Manager to bridge the gap between design and construction across multiple centers in the United States. The role involves coordinating with design, procurement, scheduling and construction teams to develop plans, mitigate risks, and ensure projects transition smoothly into construction.

Travel of up to 50% is required. Ideally, candidates will be near a Jacobs U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent.
• 5+ years managing industrial/commercial construction projects.
• Experience with 3D modelling and BIM.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Support the preconstruction team on bid package development, scheduling, estimating, and reporting.
• Contribute to design constructability and sequencing planning.
• Drive collaboration between stakeholders including design, procurement, and construction teams.
• Lead planning, strategy development and execution for timely information flow.
• Develop risk registers and mitigation plans across project phases.
