Job summary

EBON ENERGY is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to lead the North American data center power infrastructure business from Irving, TX (or remote US for top candidates). The role requires building strategic relationships with hyperscalers, developers, EPCs, and electrical contractors, guiding opportunities from design engagement to PO.

The candidate will shape market strategy, participate in technical discussions, and travel 30–50% domestically to drive growth and establish EBON

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales or business development in data centers, critical power, electrical equipment, power infrastructure, or related markets.
• Working knowledge of medium- and low-voltage power distribution and transformer applications.
• Established customer relationships within the North American data center ecosystem.
• Proven ability to develop opportunities through RFQ/RFP, commercial negotiation, and contract or PO award.
• Ability to engage effectively with executive decision-makers, commercial stakeholders, engineers, EPCs, and other technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30-50% within the United States.
• Compliance: Candidates must be free from any active non-compete or contractual restrictions that would prevent immediate engagement with relevant target customer groups.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Ebon Energy's North American Data Center business growth plan.
• Build and expand relationships with hyperscalers, colocation operators, developers, consulting engineers, EPCs, and electrical contractors.
• Drive Ebon's inclusion on Approved Manufacturer Lists, Approved Equal lists, and project specifications.
• Identify and develop strategic accounts and major data center opportunities.
• Lead opportunities from early design engagement through RFQ, proposal development, commercial negotiation, and PO.
• Partner with Application Engineering on specifications, compliance requirements, deviations, drawings, and customer requirements.
• Maintain disciplined account plans, opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and competitive intelligence.
• Provide market insight on customer requirements, competitors, project activity, and emerging opportunities.
• Help shape Ebon's commercial strategy and market presence as the U.S. organization grows.
