Job summary

Power Solutions Group, A Sunbelt Solomon Company, seeks a Business Development Director to grow our data center electrical testing and field services business by winning new work and expanding key accounts.

You will partner with operations, estimating, and technical teams to convert opportunities into profitable contracts, promote NETA acceptance and maintenance testing, and drive strategic growth across hyperscale and enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sales or industry experience in electrical testing or power systems.
• Proven success acquiring, retaining, and expanding accounts.
• Ability to read one-line diagrams and discuss testing scopes with teams.
• Familiarity with NETA acceptance and maintenance testing.
• Strong proposal development, negotiation, and forecasting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a data center growth strategy targeting hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise owners.
• Identify opportunities across new construction, upgrades, and operating facilities.
• Coordinate estimates and proposals with operations and technical teams; negotiate contracts.
• Build and maintain account plans with data center executives.
• Represent the company at industry events and with multi-site customers.
• Ensure recurring maintenance opportunities and post-project follow-up.
