Job summary

NEI Electric Power Engineering seeks a Director of Data Center to lead market strategy, client engagement, and delivery excellence. You will collaborate with MC&I leadership to grow the data center business, expand the project pipeline, and maintain high client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years engineering or field experience, 5+ years business experience, and strong knowledge of data center electrical systems. PE preferred; strong communication and leadership required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in engineering from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• 5+ years of relevant business experience.
• PE license preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering in the data center industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead market strategy for the Data Center portfolio and coordinate with MC&I.
• Develop key client relationships and grow project pipeline.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and delivery quality across teams.
• Manage budget, forecast workload, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Recruit and develop leaders; build succession plans.
