Job summary

JLL in Sunnyvale, CA seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead complex data center and mission-critical projects. You will coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver on time, on budget, and safely on-site.

The role requires 3–5 years in construction/project management, familiarity with MEP systems, and strong scheduling, budgeting, and documentation skills. Travel up to 50% and up to 80% on-site will be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in construction, facilities, or project management; data center experience preferred
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and building systems fundamentals
• Experience coordinating with contractors, vendors, and procurement/RFP processes
• Familiarity with construction documentation, scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and collaboration skills across distributed teams
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Proficiency with project management tools (Procore, MS Project, MS Office, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to work extensively on active construction sites (up to 80% onsite) and travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

• Execute project delivery activities through planning, execution and closeout phases
• Maintain project plans, logistics coordination, and integrated schedules; track milestones and risks
• Manage project meetings, milestone events, and site visits; track actions and communications
• Coordinate closeout deliverables including as-builts, O&M manuals, and warranties
• Identify project risks and support mitigation planning and issue resolution
• Track and manage project financials, change orders, and contract deliverables
• Coordinate vendor onboarding, purchase orders, contract records, and compliance documentation
• Support RFP and procurement activities including bid coordination, bid leveling, and vendor documentation
• Facilitate schedule execution through milestone tracking and coordination across teams
• Support field QA/QC, commissioning coordination, and contractor activities for milestones
• Promote site safety requirements and safe work practices; prepare progress reports and briefing materials
• Communicate with client, contractor, vendor, and project stakeholders on behalf of senior PM
