Occasional travel to multiple data center sites and on-call rotation are involved.

Qualifications

• 4+ years IT experience or Bachelor's in CS/engineering/math
• 2+ years people management experience
• 2+ years of operations and on‑call support for data center facilities, mission critical plants, or production facilities

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators
• Manage the performance of a diverse team of data center operation professionals across different locations
• Develop career paths for employees and maintain updates in internal tools
• Recruit and train data technicians to ensure staffing levels
• Oversee day-to-day data center operations, including queue management and 7/24 shift arrangements
• Lead troubleshooting and act as SME across data center operations
• Ensure KPIs and metrics are tracked and met
• Drive process improvements, technology innovation, and automation
• Manage large-scale events (outages) and act as call leader
• Improve workflows and throughput for data center operations
• Recommend and oversee policies to meet industry SLAs
• Maintain on-call schedules including vacations
