Job summary

TierPoint is seeking an Operations Technician I to join our data center team in Tulsa. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, high‑tech environment with a strong emphasis on customer service.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining servers, storage, and network gear, monitoring power and cooling, and following procedures. On‑call duties and night/weekend shifts are possible in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage and network gear.
• Provide remote smart hands support for customer issues.
• Monitor power, cooling, and network performance.
• Escalate incidents to senior staff as needed.
• Maintain records of equipment changes and maintenance.
• Escort and supervise third-party vendors and visitors when required.
